Sustainable school buildings and inclusive cultural spaces
culture and education
In the cultural sector and in sustainable school building projects, green architecture translates into the design and construction of new “green” works, through the regeneration of disused spaces, the reconversion of existing spaces, or by adopting techniques such as bioclimatic design and the integration of renewable energy systems to maximize energy efficiency.
Sometimes the original intended use of buildings is changed, in other cases it is brought back to life through redevelopment processes: former industrial areas become eco-sustainable museums, old production complexes are modernized and returned to the community as new eco-friendly schools.
Sustainable school and cultural buildings not only preserve the historical and architectural identity of buildings, but also promote sustainable teaching and innovative educational solutions. The main objective of these projects is to create functional structures, dedicated to permanence, socialization and continuous training.
